Sentry Mode on Model Y

Just got my new MYLR and I'm thinking about turning on sentry mode. I know it shuts down when I'm parked at home, but what happens when I park somewhere else? Will it still use battery for that? I'm kinda worried it might mess with my battery life over time, yknow?

Simple. If your sentry mode is on, then the 12v stays on. If it's disabled, they automatically turn off.

Yes, Sentry Mode will definitely use the battery when you park somewhere else, as it stays active to monitor your surroundings. It shouldn’t drain it too much, but if you're concerned, you can always turn it off when you know you won’t need it

I haven't personally noticed any significant battery drain with Sentry Mode. It seems pretty manageable for me, but I usually only use it when I know I’ll be away for a bit.

I haven’t noticed any major battery drain while using Dog Mode. It seems to hold up pretty well during short stops.
