Wrapping or Dipping 21" Wheels

I'm itching to wrap or dip my 21" wheels, but those curves are giving me some serious second thoughts. Has anyone braved this before? Got any sneaky tricks to make it a bit smoother and less of a headache?

I plasti dipped mine and had no issues until now. I followed this tutorial.
