Anyone know what's the point of this Acceleration Boost thing?

Just got my hands on the 2024 Model Y LR and just downloaded the Tesla App. I'm poking around and bam! There's this new option in upgrades called Acceleration Boost. What's the deal with this upgrade? Is dropping $2k on it worth it? Can't seem to find much info on it.

This feature adds 50 to 75hp, resulting in a half-second improvement in 0-60 acceleration. If you're not about speeding, you can just cancel the trial and request a refund if you don't want it.

Well, the Acceleration Boost upgrade generally improves the 0 to 60 time by half a second and gives you a 50 to 75 hp boost. Considering it’s just a software tweak with no extra parts needed, it’s a pretty good value for the performance upgrade, dont you think?

This took me down memory lane, lol. First time I stumbled upon that Acceleration Boost, I had to know if it was worth the hype, so I splurged. Let me tell you, the first time I hit the gas, I felt like I was launching into orbit. My friends were clinging to their seats, and I may or may not have screamed like a kid on a roller coaster. So yeah, it is totally worth it for the bragging rights.
