Anyone else having trouble with Shuffle on Apple Music in their car? Seems like it gets stuck playing the same small list of songs over and over, never going past the first page of my playlist. Anyone else stuck on repeat? Is this a known issue? And who should I be bugging to fix it, Tesla or Apple?

The Shuffle feature can be a bit frustrating sometimes, especially if it keeps playing the same small selection of songs. It’s like it gets stuck in a loop. I’ve noticed that with Apple Music in my car too.

If you’re used to a central library, it can feel even clunkier when it gets stuck on repeat. You might want to try controlling playback from your phone, as that might help with the shuffle issue. As for fixing it, I’d suggest reaching out to Apple since it’s their app, but you could also mention it to Tesla if it seems like a bigger problem.

This seems to be a recurring issue with Tesla’s media integration, particularly with third-party apps like Apple Music. The shuffle problem could be due to the way Tesla’s software handles playlist metadata. You might have more luck if you use shorter playlists or create a custom “shuffle” playlist to force some variety. Definitely send feedback to Tesla, but also consider reaching out to Apple Support in case it’s a compatibility issue between their app and Tesla’s platform. You could try logging out of Apple Music in the car and logging back in, it worked for me once when Spotify was acting up.
