Exterior with Textured Vinyl Chrome Delete

I'm planning a full interior wrap with 3M Abstract Ocean vinyl and I'm thinking about doing a textured vinyl chrome delete on the exterior. Has anyone tried this? I'm worried about how it will look and if it will hold up. Any tips or advice would be great!

My friend recently wrapped his console and found it fairly simple. He suggests 3M kits because they are the best and easiest to work with. They are very forgiving and dont wrinkle, allowing for simple repositioning and reapplication to correct any mistakes.
