Just pulled off the hubcaps on my Model Y and I’m absolutely digging the new look! Those hubcaps were pretty lackluster, don’t you think? Has anyone else taken the plunge and removed theirs? Curious if you've noticed any changes in range or performance!

From what I've seen online, hubcaps can boost efficiency by around 4%. So if you spend $400 a year on electricity with hubcaps, it’ll be about $412 without them. Your max range of, say, 250 miles would drop to around 243 miles. Not a big difference overall, so feel free to do what works for you, I kept mine on BTW.

I took mine off too, and it looked way cooler. I did notice a small drop in range on long trips, though. I ended up getting some aftermarket covers to keep the look and help with efficiency.
