Okay, so I just got my first chip and now I'm staring down the barrel of a $700 PPF job for the front bumper. Seriously? This thing is a chip magnet! I've been driving like a grandma, but it's like the universe hates my paint. Has anyone else resisted getting PPF? How's your bumper holding up? Is it worth the dough to protect it?

It's worth it despite how expensive it is. Most owners have PPF installed on them since that area is most vulnerable to rock chips and road debris.

Lol, is it just me but it feels like there’s a secret campaign for PPF; every vlog I watch pushes it too. And yeah, the price is eye-watering. I got a chip on my car recently, and suddenly, that $700 PPF job sounds like a necessary evil. I’ve resisted getting PPF so far, but after seeing how quickly my paint gets dinged, I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth the investment. If your bumper’s holding up well without it, maybe there’s still hope. But if you're going to keep your car for a while, that protection might pay off in the long run.
