There is a CarPlay void in my Model Y. I've had mine for a year and still missing that feature badly. I've heard rumors about aftermarket hardware that can add CarPlay functionality. Has anyone tried this yet? If so, how's it working out?

I finally got Apple CarPlay working on my Tesla! It's a bit of a hack, but it's totally worth it. Basically, I used a Raspberry Pi to run a custom Android-based firmware. It's a bit of a pain to set up, but once it's running, it's pretty seamless. I can use all my favorite Apple CarPlay apps, and it even works while I'm driving. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Hey buddy, so I've been using aftermarket hardware to add CarPlay to my Model Y, and it’s been a game-changer. The installation was straightforward, and the functionality is pretty great. You can give it a try.

Hey, kindly help with the name of the hardware you used. I love your handle by the way :)
