My Model Y's rear camera turns into a waterfall every time it rains! There's so much water droplets and I can't see a thing when backing up. This didn't happen with my Model 3. I've heard about a rear camera cover but the reviews are all over the place. Any other Y owners facing this? Got any solutions or waterproofing to share?

Give the lens a clean with some alcohol. Sometimes dirt can keep water from sliding off properly

No don't! Alchohol leaves a dark white haze that can seriously impair your visibility and damage the surfaces. It is better to stick to proper cleaning solutions to keep them clear and safe.

Good point! I learned that the hard way when I tried cleaning my headlights with alcohol once, it left this nasty haze I couldn’t get rid of. I am definitely sticking to proper cleaning solutions from now on.
