Model Y update

There are a few things my Model Y is driving me crazy! The wipers are either in hurricane mode or asleep at the wheel. Auto-lights are working great though, no flashers yet. Sentry mode is cool, but the phone screen is too small to really see what's going on. Autopilot is seeing ghosts again, The destination timer is like having a crystal ball. Tire service reminder is helpful, but can't rotate my staggered tires. And finally, the bigger text is a lifesaver for old guys like me!

I think I'm lucky. My wipers work great. Most of my friends including you complain about their wipers as well

Yeah, the auto wipers aren’t great because there’s no real rain sensor. They’re just using the camera to guess how fast to run the wipers, and since it’s a low priority for Tesla, I doubt they’re working on improving it. I might be wrong though

The auto wipers can be hit or miss, and relying on a camera instead of a dedicated rain sensor makes it a bit tricky. It would be great if Tesla prioritized that feature for improvement, who doesn’t want wipers that actually keep up with the weather?

It would be awesome if Tesla improved the auto wipers. Having wipers that can keep up with changing weather would make driving so much easier

Exactly! Better auto wipers that adjust to the weather would make a big difference while driving.
