I just installed a GEEGEETOP smoked lens rear fog bumper on my Model Y Performance. It was easy to install, but now I'm getting weird "brake lights activated" messages on my screen. It comes and goes and I can't figure out why. Has anyone else experienced this with aftermarket fog lights?

That's when you decelerate. When you release the gas pedal, regen braking is activated, and the car's brake lights light up automatically.

It sounds like the new fog lights might be triggering those "brake lights activated" messages. If you see red lights on the car model, that’s normal due to regenerative braking. Just double-check the connections; a loose wire could be causing the issue.

I haven’t heard of that happening, but it could be a wiring or compatibility issue. Did the fog lights come with resistors to avoid triggering errors?
