Tires & 20" induction wheels on Model Y

We had a new set of Pirelli winter tires mounted on my 20" induction wheels by Tesla service. The invoice says the tire pressures were checked, but they're showing at 40psi on the service page, while the recommended cold pressure is 42psi.

Should I leave them at 40psi or inflate to 42psi? I already updated the car settings to reflect the new wheels and tires.

It's usually best to follow the manufacturer’s recommended cold pressure, which in your case is 42psi. Inflating them to that level might just be a good idea but be sure to check the pressures when the tires are cold for the most accurate reading.

I couldn't agree more, sticking with the recommended 42psi is a pretty smart move.
