We have a 2023 Performance Y and looking to bring the audio from the old 2019 Model 3. Planning a system with Audison, Maestro, JL sub, and Helix processing - not the LoFi stuff!
Installer's a pro, did a Model S recently, but ran into problems connecting big amps during bootup. Worried my Y might throw a fit too (my 3 never did). Any Y peeps out there with experience adding serious aftermarket audio to a 2023?

Ideally a solution that plays nice with the car's system and avoids bootup issues. Tesla's info on this is sparse, and the whole 16v/20v thing is confusing. Hoping for collective Y wisdom.

I’ve got a 2023 Performance Y too, and I went through the same audio upgrade stress. I used a Helix processor and double-checked the amp could handle 16v to avoid those bootup issues. From my little experience , I will recommend you getting a pro who knows Tesla quirks, especially with that 16v/20v confusion. If your installer is solid, you should be good, but make sure they’ve dealt with newer Ys before.
