Hey, just got my new MYLR and thinking about slapping on some mud flaps. Heard they might mess with aerodynamics and range. Anybody noticed how much they really affect the Model Y's range? Trying to figure out if they're worth it. Also, should I go with Tesla's or aftermarket ones? Any tips on the best ones out there?

I don't think it'll have a significant impact on the range loss since it's just a flap. If there is, it's just a VERY SMALL % only. And also, I'd recommend going with OEM (Tesla) ones.

I skipped the mud flaps altogether on my MY, and honestly, I don’t feel like I’m missing much. As long as you’re careful about cleaning the sides regularly and using a good protective coating, you can get by without them. If you’re still leaning toward getting them, go with Tesla’s, they’re designed for the car, so they won’t disrupt the aerodynamics too much.
