Thinking about getting a Model Y, but I’m low-key worried about how it’ll handle cobblestone roads. Anyone driven one on bumpy roads? Is the suspension chill, or am I signing up for a shaky ride? And uh… do cobbles wreck stuff?

The Y is relatively new, which limits the availability of long-term data; however, we can reference it with Model 3. The suspension has performed great, although there have been instances of undercarriage panels becoming detached after driving in deep water or experiencing bottoming out.

But really, I have not encountered any reports of problems related to cobblestones so far. I hope this is not a big issue though.

It's a no-brainer, cruising over cobblestone streets day in and day out is basically an open invite for your suspension to call it quits early. The constant bump and grind speeds up wear and can even jiggle those fasteners loose over time.
