So my Model Y has this weird thing where it feels like it's ‘’yawning’’ during supercharging - especially when it’s roasting outside. Like, is this just a Tesla being quirky, or should I be sweating about it? Anyone else seen this happen?

Hmm it might be that the sensor or latch for the Frunk is off alignment. It’d be good to double-check that the Frunk is properly closed by opening and closing it fully to make sure it latches securely.

Yeah, that's a valid concern. A faulty sensor could definitely lead to some weird behavior. Worst-case scenario, it might trigger unnecessary safety features or limit the car's performance. It's best to get it diagnosed and fixed as soon as possible.

Oh, I totally didn’t think about the Frunk latch. I’ll take a look, but honestly, it feels more like the car’s doing this weird 'yawning' thing when it’s supercharging, like it’s cooling off or something. I’m hoping it’s just another Tesla quirk, but if it’s a sensor issue, guess I’ll have to get it checked out.

Ok, so Tesla service found out the issue is because the vcfront bolts need to be replaced, but of course, the parts are out of stock. On the plus side, though, Mobile Service can handle the repair, so no need to drag the car in!
