My Tesla is a rat buffet! I'm getting the wiring fixed next week, but I want to prevent this nightmare from happening again. I bought one of those ultrasonic rodent repeller things on Amazon. Has anyone tried hooking it up to the 12V battery under the frunk? I'm tired of spraying peppermint oil every week.

Haha, a rat buffet :ROFLMAO:
No rodent can stand a good ol’ combination of peppermint! Give that a shot before going full ultrasonic.

Oh no, a rat buffet! Hooking the ultrasonic repeller to the 12V could work. I’ve heard of people doing it with good results. Let us know how it goes.

Rodents in your Tesla? Yikes! Connecting the ultrasonic device to the 12V is a smart move, just make sure to use an inline fuse to avoid overloading the circuit. I’ve seen others use LED lights in the frunk too, as rodents don’t like constant light. Maybe try a combo for extra protection? Try parking in a well-lit area or using rodent deterrent tape on the wiring, it’s coated with something they hate.
